Practicing yoga is a commitment to becoming our best self... committed to exploring and understanding our strengths and our weaknesses, our mental and physical imbalances and patterns, our fears, our judgements, our triggers, our joys, our passions. In the process of building strength, flexibility, and awareness on the mat we start to see that our health, our vitality, our future and our outcomes are really the result of the choices we make and in our beliefs about our ability to grow, evolve, and change. The yoga practice encourages us to make a choice to delve into and rise above the beliefs, habits, limits that prevent our thriving, to seek more of what lifts us up and let go of the things that hold us back. Maria Robinson wrote "Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending...", we start wherever we are and keep moving forward making steady progress in the direction we want to go.
